Automobile Grand Prix of Turkey

The automobile Grand Prix of Turkey is a race of the championship of the world of Formula One a whose first edition took place on August 21st 2005. This event takes place on the modern circuit of Istanbul Park conceived by the famous German engineer Hermann Tilke. This layout is the third with being traversed in the anti-clockwise direction with the circuit Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari with Imola in Italy and the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace with the Brésil.

Because of the very demanding character of the circuit, the edition 2005 was very animated many pilots having left to the fault lasting this weekend while trying to go beyond the possibilities of their single-seater in particular in turn 8. Thus, Juan Pablo Montoya lost the control of its car with two turns of the arrival while trying to take a turn with Tiago Monteiro. This then allowed Fernando Alonso to take the second place behind Kimi Räikkönen, an event which will then have an influence important for the fight with the championship of the world to its apogee.
