Automatic writing
The term recovers two somewhat different activities:
-
the automatic writing of surrealist is a method of writing invented by André Breton and characteristic of the movement Surréaliste. Inspired by work of Freud and eager to release the power of the Inconscient, André Breton imagined this technique consisting in writing all that passes to him by the head without any concern of coherence, grammar or even for respect of the vocabulary.
- the automatic writing is also a process used in Médium nity, a spirit using the hand of the medium to communicate with the physical world.
- the automatic writing is not as a such phenomenon Paranormal. This term indicates in fact the kind of writing Inconsciente often used by the Psychologues themselves as technical legal tender which makes it possible to make emerge dreams, desires, of the Inconscient. The Psychologues limit the automatic writing to the alternation of the laminated personalities common to all, appearing only under certain conditions. The Parapsychologue S consider with this technique the intervention of the paranormal as effect of the psychic Dissociation of the subject introduced into a new dimension. The Spiritistic them, place the automatic writing among the means of communication with désincarnées entities of various moral levels; this is controllable by the study of the level of the message obtained. It is certain that the Psychologue, the Parapsychologue and the Spirite have all three of good reasons to adopt this method.
