Autobots

In the series Transformers, the Autobots are the heroes, contrary to the Decepticans (Decepticons in VO and in film), which are the " méchants".

Description

Like the Decepticans, Autobots belong to the extraterrestrial race of the transformers, or " Alive technological organizations of the Cybertron" planet; (see film). In other term, they are alive robots equipped with DNA, an equal intelligence, even higher than that of human, a " spark vitale" (Spark in the vo and film), kind of supernatural element which corresponds to their heart, and of faculty to transform itself into vehicle, apparatus, animal, etc, generally for the camouflage. Autobots are peaceful, they respect the human ones deeply and fight against Decepticans to protect them.

There exist two factions exit of the autobots, the Maximals (which are the heroes of Animutants and Beast Machines: Transformers) and the Dinobots (which are combined with the autobots). In all the cases, Autobots and maximals are peaceful, good and protect the human ones (for Dinobots, it is a little special in certain versions…). In the animated series, Autobots have the blue eyes (whereas Decepticans have the red eyes), detail which was preserved in film.
