Austrian national library
The Austrian National library ( of Österreichische Nationalbibliothek , ÖNB ) is the National library of the République of Austria. Founded with the the Middle Ages by the Habsbourg, it was called the library of the Court ( of Hofbibliothek ) until 1920. It is installed with the Hofburg, certain collections being localized with the Palais Mollard-Clary.
It is with 7,4 million documents the richest library of Austria. It is charged with the Registration of copyright, the national bibliography, the deposit of university work, and also has important collections of Incunable S, charts and spheres, of papyrus, artificial languages and documents inconographic.
