Cailly is a common French, located in the department of the Seine-Maritime and the area High-Normandy.
Geography
The commune owes its name with the Rivière éponyme which takes its source there. Of a 25 km length, it crosses in particular Our-Lady-with-Bondeville and Maromme then is thrown in the the Seine with Rouen. Common of Rouënnais or country of Rouen
History
The village of Cailly was a Gallo-Roman city later then became one of the important villages of the canton. Indeed having several baker's ovens, Cailly was a dominating place of life of the canton to the Middle Ages. With the XVIIIe and 19th centuries, the valley of the Cailly was occupied by many spinning mill S at the point to be called small the Manchester .
