Auricles (kitchen)
The auricles are a Dessert of origin of Provence, compared to a Beignet. In Bordeaux, one calls them " Merveilles" . It is a softness of carnival, which represents the rich bread to mark the end of the Lent. But one also finds them among the traditions of Christmas. One calls also Lyons auricles the Bugnes.
