Aurelio Luini
Aurelio Luini (Milan, ~1530 - ~1592) is an Italian painter Maniériste lombard, the son of Bernardino Luini.
Friend of Giovanni Paolo Lomazzo and affiliated (under the name of compà Lovìgn ) to the Accademia dei Facchini beyond Valley di Blenio , it encounters some problems with the ecclesiastical censure as an ordinance of the bishop Carlo Borromeo attests it who, in 1581, for a short period, prohibits to him to paint.
