Aurelio González , born the September 25th 1905 and deceased the July 9th 1997 with Asunción, was a Football or Paraguay in.

Aurelio González is one of the largest football players of the history of the Paraguay, with in particular Arsenio Erico and Romerito. It began its sporting career with the Sportivo Luqueño before signing with the Olimpia Asunción where it played the remainder of its professional path, gaining several national championships. At the beginning of the Years 1930, Aurelio González rejected an offer financially interesting of the CA San Lorenzo de Almagro (Argentine) in order to fight for its country, the Paraguay, in the Guerre of Chaco. He was also an essential player of the team of Paraguay, marking ten goals for his country in the Années 1920 and 1930 and disputing the first edition of the Football world cup.

At the end of its career, Aurelio González is reconverted as a trainer, leading the Olimpia Asunción to many championships of Paraguay and the first final of Copa Libertadores in 1960. It was also selector of the team of Paraguay at the time of the World cup 1958.
