Aurel is a common French, located in the department of the Drome and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

Cette small commune is located in Diois, solid mass of the préalpes of the south to the foot of Vercors, with the junction of the Roanne and the Drome.
The village is perched on a hill in the middle of a mountainous circus. The pincipaux tops neighborhood are: The Plain 1231 m, the mountain of Gavet 1163 m, Tightens Chauvière 1262 m.

Aurel is located at 20 km of Die and 25 km of Crest.

Economy

The economy is mainly based on the vine, for the production of famous the Clairette of Die.
