Aurèle Nicolet
Aurèle Nicolet is a Flûtiste Suisse, born the January 22nd 1926 with Neuchâtel.
Biography
Aurèle Nicolet studied with André Jaunet, Willy Burkhard and Marcel Moyse. In 1947 it gains the first price with the Conservatoire of Paris, then in 1948 that of the Concours of Geneva. Of 1950 with 1959, he was first flutist of the Philharmonic orchestra of Berlin.
He was also professor with the conservatory of music of Berlin of 1952 with 1965 and main director of the class with Freiburg-in-Brisgau of 1965 with 1981.
Toru Takemitsu, György Ligeti and Edison Denisov composed of the parts for him.
