Aulus Sempronius Atratinus was a politician of the first century of the Roman République (O C). Wire of Aulus Sempronius Atratinus (consul in 497 and 491 av. J. - C.), father of Caius Sempronius Atratinus (consul in 423 av. J. - C.) and of Aulus Sempronius Atratinus (military powerful orator with consular capacity in 425,420 and 416 av. J. - C.) and brother of Lucius Sempronius Atratinus (consul in 444 av. J. - C., critic in 443 av. J. - C.).
In 444 av. J. - C., it is elected military Tribun with consular capacity, with two other colleagues. It is the first time that military powerful orators exert in Rome the consular power, and this election was quickly disputed. After three months of mandate, it is broken for defect of the procedure of catch of the Augures, precondition obligatory to the behavior of the elections. Sempronius and its colleagues resign.
