Augy is located in the department of Yonne, with 2km in the south of Auxerre, Préfécture of Yonne, on the " road of Vignes" , near to famous the Windfallen wood village, St-Breaking, Coulanges-the-Vinous, by the vines which work the landscape.

History

Augy is a small village, unceasingly in growth, which was born in the neighborhood of Vième century, under the name of Algiac. Augy was during a few century, a wine village with the image of the other close villages, but the mushroom will phylloxera destroyed all the seedlings.
