Augustin de Saint-Aubin , born the January 3rd 1736 with Paris where he died the November 9th 1807, is a Dessinateur and engraver French.
Biography
Augustin de Saint-Aubin belongs to the family of Saint-Aubin, Dessinateur S and engraver S. It was itself engraver of the king.Married to Louise-Nicole Godeau. Receipt with the Royal Academy of Painting in 1775. Engraver of the king and his library starting from 1777. Becomes engraver at Etienne Fressard as from 1755 and carries out multiple illustrations for the Journal of music of Mr. Lagarde, the representations of theater, the catalogs of sale, the books or the cabinet of natural history of the Duc of Chevreuse.
His/her brothers Gabriel-Jacques de Saint-Aubin, Charles-Germain de Saint-Aubin and Louis-Michel de Saint-Aubin were also respected artists.
