Augustin Darbefeuille

Augustin Darbefeuille (1756 - 1831) was a surgeon Nantes 18th century, which was taken in the storm of the French revolution.

Imprisoned during the Nantes Terror, Augustin Darbefeuille escaped dead because the town of Nantes missed doctors. Witnesses of the atrocities made for the eight month period during which the revolutionary Comité of Nantes carried on its activity, he testified against the Committee at the time of the lawsuit brought with his members (25 vendémiaire year II - October 16th 1794). ----
