Auguste Pomel

Nicolas Auguste Pomel is a paleontologist and a geologist French, born the September 20th 1821 with Issoire and died in 1896.

He works as mining engineer in Algérie and becomes a specialist in the Vertébré S Fossile S of North Africa. He obtains a title of science doctor to the faculty of Paris in 1883 with two theses entitled methodical Classification and “generated” alive and fossil Echinidea and Contribution to the methodical classification of the crucifères
