Auguste Bougon
Auguste Bougon is a soldier and Politician French, born on February 10th, 1850 and deceased on June 19th, 1935 with Noyon (Oise).
After studies in religious establishments of Boundary-line, Auguste Bougon is pupil with Saint-Cyr military school, then takes part as aide-de-camp in the War free-Prussian of 1870, thus starting a military career in the cavalry which will carry out it until the rank of colonel in 1896.
He enters the public life while taking part, in the capacity as judge to the council of war, with the decision of payment of the commander Esterhazy at the time of the Affaire Dreyfus. It is besides because of a public dispute which it has with an officer supporter of Dreyfus that it sees striped of advance to the rank of general.
Admitted with the retirement in 1902, whereas it orders the 9th regiment of hunter of Auch, it is elected immediately after deputy of Oise, in the district of Compiegne, with a program of preserving republican, obtaining the clergy and local line monarchist support.
Its election, however, is acquired only with 8 votes of majority against the radical Ernest Christmas, and the investigation reveals many irregularities and pressures, which lead to the invalidation of legislative on June 30th.
It is represented with the by-election of September 28th, but is beaten by Christmas. Candidate again with the delegation, and the Senate, in 1906, it does not manage to be made elect and withdraws the political life.
At the time of the First World War, it requires to take again service and, in spite of its age, is reincorporated with its rank of colonel.
After 1918, it takes its retirement definitively and dies on June 19th, 1935 in its commune of birth.
