Auguste is a Play of Raymond Castans. It was diffused for the first time the August 3rd 1967 on the first chain of ORTF.

Synopsis

Gerard Flower is a public relation for the high-speed motorboats in all kinds. He wants to launch a starlet, Francoise Martin, by imagining a false suicide and a false rescue by a large Hollywood high-speed motorboat, Gary Johnson. All was regulated in depth, the arrival of the President of the Republic on the bridge of Alma, the suicide of Francoise, the rescue by the star, the journalists… But a grain of sand comes to seize up this beautiful mechanics: Auguste. This small bank clerk will be fastest to help Francoise then finds himself, well in spite of him, under fires of the projectors…
