Auguste-César West

Appointed administrator then, Auguste-César West was born with Soultz (Haut-Rhin) the July 13rd 1810 and died there the November 24th 1880.

December 31st 1848, it was destined for Colmar, the head of the prefecture of its department of origin. But as of on May 20th 1850, it left the prefecture of Colmar to direct the important prefecture of the the Low-Rhine to Strasbourg. Following a conflict of a denominational nature, the West prefect due to permute with Jean-Baptist-Stanislas-Martial Migneret, prefect of Toulouse, on April 13rd 1855. It managed the Haute-Garonne until in 1859. With the elections of May 31st 1863, Auguste-César was elected like deputy with the legislative Body. With the expiry of its electoral mandate, it was withdrawn in Soultz.
