August Friedrich von Froriep

August Friedrich von Froriep is a anatomist and a German Médecin , born the September 10th 1849 with Weimar and dead the October 11th 1917 with Tübingen.
He is the son of Robert and Wilhelmine (born Ammermüller) von Froriep. He obtains his title of doctor of medicine with Leipzig in 1874 and Marie with Caroline Elise Lenoir the following year. He becomes the assistant of Christian Wilhelm Braune (1831-1892) in 1874. After having taught the Anatomy at the medical school of Leipzig, it becomes, in 1878, prosector in Tübingen, then professor assisting in 1884, then professor in 1895. It is interested in particular in the development of the Cerveau.
