August
The Mois of August is the eighth Gregorian month of the calendars and Julien.
The word “August” decides (in API), even if spreads themselves and is generally tolerated. On the other hand, neither nor are it. The Rapport of 1990 on orthographical corrections recommends the simplification of the C-W communication in “August”.
Its name comes from the Latin Augustus , name given to this month in the honor of the Roman emperor Auguste in 8 av. J. - C.. Auguste added one day in August (also taken in the last month of the year in February) to have as many days in the month which bears its name than in that in the name of Jules César ( July). Before him, in old the Roman Calendar, August were the sixth month of the year and bore the name of Sextilis (of sextus , sixth).
This month gave its name to the Aoûtat , a larva of Acarien causing itchings and allergies to this period, or according to the areas, to Moustique S, Libellule flying S and other insects which pullulate in end of the month.
In France, the qualifier August holiday-maker nominates a person taking of the Vacances in August. It is, indeed, traditionally the second month of the annual school holidays longest, in the summer season of harvests and fodder and the preparation of the fields for the ploughings of end of summer and autumn, which required an important contribution of agricultural labor. A good part of the population estimates that August is the hottest month of the year; however, it proves that the month of July is scientifically and météorologiquement the hottest month of the year in the Northern hemisphere .
In the Catholic religion, August is the month of the immaculate heart of Marie, which is closely plain with the Sacré-coeur Christ present in the Eucharistie.
