Aude of France

Aude, Helped, Aldana or Adalne (732-after 755?) said sometimes Aude of Gellone, girl natural of Charles Martel and Rothilde de Gellone, it is the sister of Remi (729-771) bishop of Rouen, Bernard (731-787) and of Jerome (738 - 814).

In 739 she is promised with Thierry Ier of Autun (725-778?) wire of Théoderic count d' Autun (708? - after 755) him even grandson of Bernarius and Chrodelinde. In 744 the marriage takes place, and towards 748 Aude is mother of Thierry II (V. 748 - 804) which will inherit the county of Autun, then it is mother of Alleaume (Adalhelm), and in 751 of Guillaume de Gellone (751 - 28.5.812), which will become the famous Guilhem saint, well later (towards XIIe century) famous William of Orange in one of major cycle epic of the Middle Ages.
