Audacious Media Player is a audio Lecteur free. It is about a Fork of Beep Media Player.

William " nenolod" Pitcock decided to take again the project after the developers of Beep Media Player decided to stop its development in order to create a new generation of their software: BMPx.

Audacious supports fully the skins Winamp 2, Beep Media Player but also XMMS. Since version 1.2 some skins modern (free-from) as those used by Winamp 5 would be compatible. This function should be improved with versions 1.3 of the software still in version Alpha.
