Aubry-le-Panthou
Aubry-le-Panthou is a common French, located in the department of the Orne and the area Basse-Normandie.

Geography
History
The existence of a place known as " Moutiers" in the commune lets suppose the existence of a Monastère with the Moyen-âge. One finds the same root in the name of the chief town of canton, Vimoutiers.
Administration
The commune of Aubry-le-Panthou to the characteristic to have known only two mayors during all the 20th century. The mandate of first lasted of 1899 to 1960, that of the second (Daniel Cholet) of 1960 to 2000.

This small commune with the characteristic to accommodate the Buddhist Congregation of Vajradhara-Ling which has as a project the construction of a Temple for Peace that the Dalaï LAMA would have to visit on July 15th 2006, if it had not had preoccupations with a health. This visit is given to 2008.
