Aubigné is a common French, located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and the area Brittany.
Geography
History
The initial function of the commune is soldier. The lord of Aubigné is as considered as the large feudal ones of Vitré, Guerche or Châteaugiron. With the shelters of the turns of the castle, develops an increasing marketing activity which give at the beginning of the 11th century a weekly market and three annual fairs. At the 15th century, the castle is given up and its territory is seen declined. In 1850, one counts 164 inhabitants on the commune of Aubigné.
