Attécoubé
Located in northern Abidjan and on a hillock dominating bay of the Bank value, Attécoubé is a long time remained a simple village little touched by the urbanization which developed in the close localities. At the beginning of the Colonial era , Attécoubé was the first witness of the trade of wood export.
The Bark S of Mahogany tree, let us niangons, sipos, sambas, framirés and another wood balls forwarded by the lagoon to the ships charged to carry them in Europe. These Grume S of wood still forms part of the landscape of Attécoubé. In addition, the common one belongs to the town of Abidjan and includes the totality of the 3.000 hectares constituting the National park of the Bank value. Its Mayor, elected with the municipal elections of March 2001, is Danho Paulin .
Complex commercial
Currently, the gigantic commercial complex built there, undoubtedly largest of Abidjan.
