Atreyu is a group of Emocore/Metalcore come straight of Orange County in California.

Formation

Biography

Atreyu is made of Brandon To salt (battery and Chant), daN Jacobs (Guitare), Chris Thomson (low), Travis Miguel (Guitare), Alex Varkatzas (Chant). The quintet off leaves a EP named Fractures in the Facade Your Porcelain Beauty in 2001, will follow then their first album Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses in 2002. Thereafter, Marc McKnight will replace Chris Thomson with the low . After the exit of The Curse, Atreyu thereafter started a round at the sides of Deftones and Thrice, at the time of the Taste off Chaos in 2005.En 2007 they sign at Roadrunner and leave Lead Sails Paper Anchor.

Musical style

Their style is described as Emocore. Influenced by the 2nd wave of emocore.
