Atomism

The atomism is a philosophical theory proposing a design of a universe made up of matter and vacuum. According to the nuclear physicists , the atoms composing the universe are all of the same substance and differ from/to each other only by their forms and their positions. These doctrines are connected with the Monisme.

Leucippe and Démocrite is regarded as the inventors of the atomism, doctrines taken again later by Épicure, then by Lucrèce.
