Atofina
Atofina was a subsidiary company of the oil group French TotalFinaElf, born in 2000 of the fusion of the chemistry of Total-Fina and that of Elf (ex. Elf Atochem).
In 2004, Atofina disappeared, with the profit of Arkema, undertaken created by the oil group Total, to isolate part of its chemical activities.
Among the old subsidiary companies of Atofina, one can quote GPN, in the past Grande Parish, now attached to Total Petrochemicals. Large Parish is mainly known today general public following the explosion of the Usine AZF of Toulouse on September 21st, 2001.
