Atlas Shrugged (film)

Atlas Shrugged is an American film which will leave in 2008. It is the adaptation of the Romance éponyme of Ayn Rand published in 1957. That will be the third of its works adapted to the cinema after The Fountainhead and We the Living . It could be divided into several episodes (the novel makes more than 1100 pages).

The rights of film adaptation were bought in 2003 per 1 million dollars by the Baldwin Entertainment Group , the company of the Baldwin brothers which produced Ray. John Aglialoro who had these right before will be coproducer. Lions Spoils Entertainment acquired the rights of distribution. James V. Binder carried out the first adapatation in scenario, scenario currently developed by Randall Wallace (the author of the scenario of Braveheart).
Un draft amendment in a minisery of 6 shutters had failed in the years 1990.

Synopsis

Dagny Taggart which directs with his/her Jim brother the railroad company Taggart Transcontinental beats to save the company in a world which falls.
