The first race of the season takes place in March, whereas second place has at the end of October, it is in Nextel Cup, the sixth of the ten races of the " Drive out for the Nextel Cup".
This very fast circuit often gives place on very tight arrivals, thus in March 2005, Carl Edwards, carries out a going beyond of anthology on Jimmie Johnson at the time of the last tower of the race and is essential some thousandth. The day before, it had gained the race of Busch Series.
The NASCAR Busch Series comes only once per annum on Atlanta Motor Speedway, in March.
