The Atlético of Madrid ( Atlético Club of Madrid in Spanish) is a Spanish club of Football based with Madrid and currently pulled by Javier Aguirre.
Created in 1903, the Athletic madrileño , which was going to become later Atlético Madrid, did not resemble to the other teams of the Spanish capital. It gathered above all the students born apart from Madrid and who had joined the capital to study at the University. The majority were Basque, from where the name of the club: Athlétic .
When this sport started to take importance in the Spanish company, the superiority of Real became an obviousness for everyone. Little by little, the clubs of the area started to disappear by lack of means economic or from real desire to exist.
