Atefah Rajabi Sahaaleh

Atefah Rajabi Sahaaleh عاطفهرجبیصحاله|ʿĀtefah Rajabi Sahāleh (1988 - 2004) shown Iranian young woman is a “acts incompatible with the chastity” and of Adultère, condemned to dead and carried out by Pendaison the August 15th 2004, in the town of Neka, at the edge of the Caspian Sea in Iran.

Biography

His/her mother died in a Road accident when Atefah had 4 or 5 years and his/her father became a drug addict; Atefah thus grew with his/her large parents, who did not show him any affection. To the thirteen years age, she is condemned for “acts incompatible with chastity” after being stopped at the time of one evening mixed and to be found only in a car with a boy. The true nature of the crime which is reproached to him is unknown, but it carried out a short custodial sentence and received 100 whiplashes.

After its coming out of prison, she declares with her close relations that she endured abuses on behalf of the guards of the prison. She becomes acquainted then with a 51 year old man, Ali Darabi, groom, father and old guard of the revolution, which will violate it on several occasions.

The judgment of Atefah Rajabi to the capital punishment was then confirmed by the supreme court on the request of judge Haji Rezai. It was carried out by hanging as a public; and the judge even who condemned it passed itself the cord has his neck.

It was buried the very same day, and during the following night, its body was withdrawn from the place where it rested by the unknown ones. The Rajabi family carried felt sorry for and asked for the behavior of an investigation.

It also was the subject of a program entitled Discovery Times “Execution in Iran” .
