Ataniks
The Ataniks is a fictitious race of the televised series Stargate SG-1.
Ataniks are a advanced race which was destroyed by the Goa' uld several centuries ago. They developed bracelets which make it possible to increase the physical capacities considerably. These bracelets seemed to be the only means of defense used by Ataniks. However, their bodies developed an immunity with these bracelets, the driving ones at their ends. Only four bracelets were found by the Tok' ruffle Anise at the time of an archaeological mission. SG-1 used these bracelets during some time, but they developed Anticorps which made these bracelets unusable. Three of the four bracelets discovered by Anise were destroyed during the explosion of a vessel mother Goa' uld in construction.
