Atac

Atac is a sign of Supermarché, created in 1998 by the group Auchan re-electing the network Super-Marché Doc. inherited the repurchase of Docks of France and comprising stores franknesses.

The sign préente the Atac concept like that of a supermarket of Proximity at low price.

History

1959 : Opening of the first supermarket Doc. with Bagneux;
1985 : Creation of the first Atac supermarket;
1996 : Repurchase of the group Docks of France (Atac supermarkets and hypermarkets Mammoth) by Auchan;
1998 : Birth of the company Atac, subsidiary AuchanSuper;

The integrated stores and franknesses are supplied by 7 fresh warehouses, 4 PGC - Nonfood.

Atac is also present in Spain, Italy, Morocco and Poland.

Projects

The Auchan group transformed into 2006 eight stores Atac in Simply Market and created two of these stores ex-nihilo. This new concept then in test should be wide if the results are convincing and lead to the transformation of ten others Atac during 2007.

In September 2007, more than 40 stores Simply Market are under operation in France, and 50 others in the other European countries.
