Atérien
the Atérien (of Bir elater, Algeria) is an industrial facies of the end of the Paléolithique means and Paléolithique superior {towards 40.000 and 30.000 B.P}.
Geographical distribution
Its presence is limited to the North Africa, primarily in Morocco (Taforalt, Dar be-Soltan), in the African Sahara (Bir Tefawi, the oasis of Kharga) and with the Niger (Seggedim).
