Aston Barrett

Aston Francis Barrett (born the November 22nd 1946, with Kingston, Jamaica), often called " Familyman " or " Fams ", is a Bassiste jamaïcain. It is one of the brothers Barrett (the other being Carlton " Carlie" Barrett) which played with Bob Marley and The Wailers. It holds its nickname " Family Man" of its paternity of 52 children (not with the same woman). In 2006 it asks for 60 million of unpaid pounds sterling of royalties for him and its brother deceased, as a musician, by whom the sound of Wailers was born. It loses finally the lawsuit.

Roger Steffens, large specialist in Marley, said of Wailers: " As long as there is Familyman with low, the group can be called Wailers".
