Aston-junction

Aston-Junction is a Municipalité Quebec (Canada) located in the regional Municipalité of county of Nicolet-Yamaska of the administrative area of the Center-of-Quebec. Its current mayor (2005) is Pierre Gaudet.

History

  • 1806 : Creation of the canton of Aston.
  • 1917: Creation of the municipality of Saint-Raphaël-Part-South.
  • 1951: Creation of the village of Aston-Junction.
  • March 26th, 1997: Creation of the municipality of Aston-Junction by the fusion of the village of Aston-Junction and the parish of Saint-Raphaël-Part-South.
