Aster was skilful a Greek Archer 4th century before J. - C.
Native of Amphipolis, it was avenged for Philippe II of Macedonia which had refused its services, by boring the right eye to him with the seat of Méthone, with an arrow on which were, one says, ldes words: “ With the right eye of Philippe . ” In answer, the king made throw in the place an arrow with these words: “ If the city is taken, Aster will be hung . ” And it was it indeed.
