Association of the most beautiful villages of Quebec
Founded in 1997 per Jean-Marie Girardville, the Association of the most beautiful villages of Quebec aims to promote in the village municipalities of Quebec safeguarding and the development of the architectural and historical heritage and the quality of the landscape. It counts, in 2006,33 villages members divided in 10 tourist areas. This concept also exists in France and Belgium.
