Asom Gana Parishad

The Asom Gana Parishad or AGP is an Indian regional political party in the Assam. Founded in 1985, it formed the government of this State of the Indian Union between 1985 and 1989 and between 1996 and 2001. He asserts the defense of the identity Assamais E vis-a-vis the influences or immigrations Bengali Hindi and . He is combined with none of two Indian political principal trainings (BJP and Parti the Congress). He gained two seats with the Lok Sabha (Indian Parliament) at the time of the legislative elections of May 2004.
