The Asociación de Cronistas del Espectáculo de Nueva York ( ACE ) is a Association with nonlucrative goal founded with New York the December 12th 1967 by a group of Journaliste S and correspondents of radio. It gives each year since 1969 the Prix ACE to the Film S, Téléfilm S and works of Spanish Théâtre deserving in language E.
History
The
Asociación de Cronistas del Espectáculo de Nueva York was founded with
New York the
December 12th 1967. The
May 25th 1969, it announced officially the first handing-over of the Prix ACE, which took place later a few days with the
Madison Square Garden as an interlude with the equestrian spectacle of the film star Mexican Antonio Aguilar.
Among the artists who were rewarded by the ACE or which attended the ceremonies, one can quote Iris Chacón, Placido Domingo, Don Francisco, Lupita Ferrer, Olga Guillot, Julio Iglesias, Jose Jose, Rocío Jurado, Marga López, Silvia Pinal, Cristina Saralegui, Ninón Sevilla, between much of others.
The current president is Fernando Campos, Dominican Journaliste .
