- the castle of Montaillou: the castle was built by the lords of Alion towards the end of the 12th century. But, Bernard d' Alion is condemned by the Enquiry in 1258 for his participation in the Hérésie cathare. The castle was allocated then to the father of his wife Esclarmonde, Roger IV of Foix, count de Foix.
