Aso mount
The Mont Aso (阿蘇山 Aso-san ) is largest active Volcan of the Japan. It is located in the Préfecture of Kumamoto on the island of Kyūshū and culminates with 1592 meters with the top of the sea level. 300.000 years ago, the first Caldeira had appeared following a very important eruption with pyroclastic emissions of castings on all the island of Kyushu.
Between 80.000 and 70.000 years, the current form of will caldeira Aso produced important broad outlines. It is a very broad volcano (one broadest in the world) since its Caldeira makes 25 km of north in the south and 18 km of is in west and makes 120 km of circumference.
On the assembly line and the Nakadake Mount, one counts 4 volcanos, Takadake, Nekodake, Kishimadake, Eboshidake (" dake" is a Japanese word which means " mont"). As a whole, these volcanos knew more than 160 eruptions since the year 533 whose last eruption goes back to 2004.
