Askia Ismaïl
Askia Ismaïl controlled the Empire songhaï of 1537 with 1539. Wire of Askia Mohammed Touré Large the, it succeeded his/her cousin Askia Mohammed II Benkan. Its reign was marked by a serious dryness and a Famine which affected all the loop of the Niger. His/her brother Askia Ishaq Ier succeeded to him.
