Askeri İnzibat

The Askeri İnzibat is a unit of military Police suitable for the Turkish armed . Its mission is to take care of the discipline within the armed forces and to continue the deserters. In time of war, it also has like mission, the defense and the protection of the headquarters of Régiment S and Division S.

It has authority on all the military forces of Turkey, excluded the air force.

Soldiers, named " guards municipaux" , are selected among the most disciplined soldiers and more obeying. Their behavior is the battle dress with, like distinctive sign, an arm-band or a helmet marked ASIZ ( Askeri Inzibat )

ASIZ , exist for a very long time within the Turkish army. Their final denomination was stopped with the Othoman period. Their missions are the same ones today as at that time.
