Asaph
Asaph or Assaf was a Lévi you and a cantor inspired Hebrew.
It is looked like the author of several of the Psaume S commonly allotted to the King David, but several critics think that it did nothing but put them in music.
One allots also these psalms to the one of his descendants, because they mention posterior facts with David.
