Asahi Shinbun (朝日新聞, Asahi Shinbun , Newspaper of Sun-Raising ) is one of the national famous daily newspapers Japanese. History

The newspaper was founded in 1879 with Ōsaka. It is then a popular newspaper defending the democracy. It is submitted then the militarist government and to Japanese saber-rattler of the years 1930 and 1940.
