AsSofie von Otter

Anne-Sofie Von Otter (born the May 9th 1955 with Stockholm) is a singer of opera (Mezzo-soprano) Swedish.

His/her father was diplomat and it grows with Bonn, London and Stockholm.

It begins its studies in Stockholm, continues its formation at Vera Rozsa in Guildhall of London and begins in 1982 within the troop from the opera from Basle.

Its voice the door naturally to endorse roles of transvestites, young men.

It starts then a great international career where the operas of Mozart and Strauss are prevalent in its repertory. It also gives recitals of melodies in the whole world.

In 2001, she collaborates in an unexpected way with the composer-songwriter Elvis Costello on the album Stars .

In 2006, it leaves the album I let the Music Speak , which takes again compositions of Benny Andersson of the group Abba.
