Biography

Childhood

Dorothée is born with the private clinic from the “Beautiful Sheets” in Paris but passes its childhood to Borough-the-Queen (Hauts-de-Seine) with her father, engineer, his mother, housewife, and her Jean-François big brother. During its childhood, it takes courses of dance and piano, which enables him to obtain the third price of the Concours Nerini at the eleven years age. In 1970, Frederique Hoschedé is noticed by Jacqueline Joubert at the time of a contest of theater amateur where she plays the part a whim of Alfred de Musset, which she itself adapted. Three years later, it makes its beginnings in the Wednesdays of youth under the pseudonym “Dorothée”, with for partner the Blablatus puppet. The emission does not survive the bursting of ORTF. In 1985, she discovers the United States and wants to import into France (with the agreement of Jerry Lewis) an emission which moved it until deepest by itself: the Telethon. But Antenne 2 answers him that this kind of emission will never go to France and that it is not enough famous to present it. Jacqueline Joubert will make him, it also, sign “to calm itself”.

Parallel to its trade of stimulating, it continues its career of singer for children, with signed tubes Jean-François Porry (alias Jean-Luc Azoulay, one of the two chairmen of AB Production) and Gerard Salesses: she leaves 16 albums between 1980 and 1996, sells 15 million discs musicalement all while dissociating sound “elder” Chantal Goya, while moving towards a repertory of sentimental songs or néo-rock'n'roll.

The Club Dorothée

She continues Récré A2 until in 1987, until she is contacted by TF1, in order to animate it from now on Club Dorothée celebrates (up to 21 hours of weekly programs). Surrounded by a band of organizers (ARIANE, Corbier, Patrick and Jacky), this emission is an immense success of audience of 1987 to 1997. The Club Dorothée is started again on May 16th, 2006 on television, the time of one evening special on AB1: the years Club C presented by Jacky.

The years 2000

After the failure of the project of television channel for the family and youth C TV in 2002, it is the failure of the project Club Récré (name evoking the two emissions worships presented by Dorothée) in April 2005 of Jean-Luc Azoulay, who does not obtain a channel on TNT. If the project had been approved, Dorothée would have been leading adviser of the chain, preferring to leave the antenna to young organizers.

Dorothée really left its media silence only four times: at the time of the School of the fans in 1998, of Highly Sunday in December 2005, where it was the guest of Chantal Goya at Michel Drucker, December 2006 when it appears on the scene of Olympia as a godmother of the musical comedy for children " With the Kingdom of Bonbons". The exit of a box DVD and CD Live Best-of, gathering the principal concerts of Dorothée to Bercy (1990, 1992,1994 and 1996), is born in the tread.

It is godmother of the Musical comedy for children Eric the king of the silly things and Professor Je-Sais-Tout with the Kingdom of the Candies . In November 2006, Dorothée reappears on Internet in extracts of a pilot of emission of kitchen diffused on the site Dailymotion, which cause a certain unexpected racing of the media (Dorothée is found thus with the one of the free daily newspaper Metro ), which see a true return moving there. The September 24th 2007, Jean-Luc Azoulay announces on Europe 1 that Dorothée and its team (Jacky, Corbier, ARIANE, Patrick) should make their televisual return on IDF1 in a baptized emission the emission worship . Corbier announces quickly that it does not wish to take part in the project. The emission will be diffused on December 15th.

In October 2007, Jacques Pessis, joint author of Dorothée to the country of the songs , sign the book the Years Dorothée , for the promotion of which it is invited by Michel Drucker, in the emission Vivement Sunday , the next on November 4th.
