The Artland Dragons , are a German club of Basket-ball resulting from the town of Quakenbrück (Artland). The club belongs to the Basketball-Bundesliga is more the high level of the German championship.

History

August 1st The team knew a fast accession since spring 1994, or it rises on the 2nd level regionaliga (the 4th division). The two following seasons also end in the accession at the higher level. The club will remain in 2.Bundeslga (the 2nd division) of 1996 with 2003, where it obtains its ticket for the Basketball-Bundesliga. Spring 2005 it reaches for the first time the play-offs, and in 2007 it created the feeling while being qualified for the finale of the championship, beaten by Brose Tennis shoes, but thus obtaining the right to take part in the Coupe ULEB.
